The story behind
I spent a long time waiting for life to change on its own. This song came from the moment I realized the door was never locked — I just never tried the handle. It's not a song about contentment; it's about radical ownership. You can stay or you can go, but either way, it's yours. The Americana feel came naturally: that genre has always understood the relationship between place, restlessness, and accountability.
